In an era where smartphones are powered by AI, #vivo is set to unveil its self-developed large models At the 2023 International Science, #Technology and Innovation Forum of Boao Forum for Asia, Zhou Wei, Vice President of vivo, Vice President of OS Products Field, and Head of vivo Artificial Intelligence Global Research Institute, shared with the attendees the company's vision and future directions in terms of large AI models.   vivo began its #AI research journey in 2017 by establishing the vivo Artificial Intelligence #Global Research Institute, making the company one of the first Chinese #smartphone makers to establish a research institute dedicated to artificial intelligence.   Zhou Wei said that artificial intelligence comprises four essential elements—#data, #human power, #algorithms, and #computing power, in all of which vivo has achieved a leading position. When it comes to the application of vivo's proprietary large models, Zhou said, "upon a deep look into smartphone ecosystems and user behaviors, vivo will launch five self-developed large models, along with a series of solutions. vivo will also share its successful experience in large-model training, optimization, and on-device validation as a way to help other #phone makers grow."

vivo attended the Third Conference of the International Science, #Technology and Innovation Forum of Boao Forum for Asia Over the 22 years since the Boao Forum for Asia was founded, #vivo has been one of the few enterprises that has been a loyal strategic partner and the only one in mobile industry. At the conference, vivo presented new perspectives and unique insights into technological innovation.   "For a tech company to stay competitive, it must be dedicated to the underlying technologies.
