In the summer of 2021, China’s Henan province was hit hard by torrential rain and massive floods, forcing people to flee and separating families. The destruction spurred one young person - armed only with a Tencent doc and internet connection - to find help. She found an innovative way to harness the power of technology and community to help the rescue effort, reconnect families and bring medical care to victims who needed it most.

Technology is a powerful tool when used to help others overcome difficulties. Most recently we've been focused on helping people with hearing and vision challenges by developing cutting-edge technology, and supporting youths and senior citizens access digital services that connect them with family and a wide range of online services.
