Former redmi 13c user here. Dont buy this P.0.$. You'll regret and frustrate every second after you buy this. Ridiculously slow compared to other emmc storage devices. Battery is garbage. Slow internet speeds. Weak cell reception. Virtual proximity is a disaster. Buy something else guys. There are lot of good devices for this price range.

I want a buy a new affordable mobile phone, but I don't know which one to pick since they both have same almost features. I am confused of vivo y17s and Redmi 13C both are only 4G. I don't play games, but I use social medias and watch videos a lot. My primary interest is long life lasting battery, good signal, good screen ( shouldn't be huge, but good colors) even the phone shouldn't be big. I kinda like the shape and design of vivo better than Redmi. However, I don't know about the software. Who can help me choose the best brand that will never disappoint me? Thank you
KV, 18 Feb 2024Please advise which are the best option Redme 12 vs Redme13c. I seen some comments that Redme ... moreRedmi 12 is basically a bit better in nearly every aspect (except for battery life) than Redmi 13C. So if the price difference isn't too drastic in your place, take the Redmi 12. I only took Redmi 13C because it was a whole $32 cheaper than the 12, and I was on a really tight budget.
How about the call reception? I experience lot of call drops, connectivity issues with redmi 13c.
Please advise which are the best option Redme 12 vs Redme13c. I seen some comments that Redme 12_ battery life is not good and found some other issues... Kindly help me so I will buy as per advise. Thanks
humpity, 17 Feb 2024Doesn't make sense. 10c outperforms this. Looks like Xiaomi ran out of Qualcomm chips. Al... moreput the phone down on a flat table 😈
More than a week has passed since I use this phone, here's my experience so far:
1. Display; it's great with 90hz RR, and it also picks up quite a fight with the sunlight. Colors look a bit dull on the default settings though, and it's resolutions has nothing to phone home about.
2. Performance; this phone rocks! I can finally play my games again after an unsatisfactory sessions with my Redmi 7. And I don't feel any lags or hiccups throughout the UI most of the time. Sweet!
3. Software; Speaking of the UI, it's a mixed bag, really. On one hand, they added some cool features that are useful like pull-up tab for applications, volume mixer, and so on. On the other hand though, some cuts are made such as split screen function (it annoys me 'cause I used to use that feature a lot for playing YouTube while looking at something else) and Game Turbo (with its awesome floating window and freeing up RAM function). And the device is initially cluttered with pre installed apps, though it's just me nitpicking honestly.
4. Cameras; the daylight photos and videos are fire for the budget 🔥, but most importantly it's a considerable leap now that I have Night Mode at my hands. Video quality doesn't crumble at night too, which is awesome.
5. Speaker; this is the part is where I was most disappointed initially, it sounds noticeably tinny. Though the more that I think about it, it's a budget device anyway, compromises have to be made. And I also have used to it as day passed.
6. Ports and connectivities; I think the most highlighted upgrades brought to me by this phone is (drum rolls) NFC and USB-C! NFC is a much needed feature, since I use e-moneys a lot for transportations, and USB-C? I'm tired of it's predecessor's shenanigans! The headphone jack still gets to stand proud, and the wireless brothers (WiFi & Bluetooth) upgrades are also nice to have.
7. Battery; with intense usage I get roughly the same results with my previous Redmi 7, if not better. Say it has charged 100% at 6AM, then it'll be 60-70% at 12AM, and 20-40% by 7PM, keeping in mind this is my use case. But the standby performance is much better.
8. Design; I like how they arrange the camera cluster and the areas around it. The back panel finish is awesome too. But it's slippery as heck with those flat frame.
Overall for what I can say it has been an outstanding experience, and it's a very worthy phone for the price point, better than Samsung's I'd say
Mafubara, 10 Feb 2024Um well.... This is the first phone I bought with my own money and also my first Xiaomi Phone.... moreSearch for 'color scheme'. Sam A0 series is the worse, compare with A series.
Doesn't make sense. 10c outperforms this. Looks like Xiaomi ran out of Qualcomm chips. Also don't put the phone down on a flat table.
N, 04 Feb 2024Should I get the Redmi 12 or this one? I saw some comments about redmi 12 got some skill issue... moreget Redmi12

The phone display is good but there no support gyroscope in games
Finally a USB-C
Um well.... This is the first phone I bought with my own money and also my first Xiaomi Phone..
I've been using it for a month, I'm really happy with it. Coming from Samsung Galaxy A03s, This phone is really decent for it's price, especially that I bought this phone with a big discount. Worth the upgrade.
Battery Life is great, I can use my phone almost a whole day since I always use it for TikTok and Games.
It takes me about 1-2 charges per day. And Wow It charges faster than my old phone even if it's 10w charging.
The Performance is also great for me, there are few cases where it gets buggy. For Gaming, I don't play that much but games like ML runs smoothly on High Graphics but I get frame drops in teamfights sometimes.
The software... MIUI 14, There are a lack of features.... There's no new control center, no blur, and no app icon animations. It's a let down but It doesn't matter for me...
I don't care about the camera, speakers are I don't know, I barely even used a flagship phones..
For some reason, My Redmi 13c has a slightly yellowish display compared to the demo phones I saw, but it's not that obvious. (Still bothers me)
Overall, it was worth the price I just wish they just added more features. But hey, I got what I paid for.
Can't wait for HyperOS...
I have issues about the battery cuz it dies very fast
I'm interested in the difference between the European, Asian, Indonesian and Chinese models... I use a Xiaomi 13c and the only thing I know is that it's a global version, supposedly an EU model, and in the original vacuum packaging I received a charger designed for European standards, not like those with an Asian extension in European, can someone tell me if my cell phone is an EU model, and if it is possible that in some countries the charger comes in the original packaging
Should I get this phone for some gameplay ? I saw some people complain about the battery life tho.
