I know I always get the lowest storage option if microsd is avalable, but if not I tend to get the higher storage model.

But why you always mention what you own and how much it cost? :D Are you trying to "impress" people on the web with that, or what is going on? Nobody else here does that, but you. Here; I typed this on a mechanical keyboard that I built, it cost me around 370 euros. You didn't ask what I own, but I still told you a meaningless piece of information.
This might be the only smartphone with a Quad Bayer camera sensor that can come close to the Sony Xperia 1 Mk4 in terms of photo quality. I do see some oversharpening effect when viewed under 100% zoom, but it doesn't do enough to fully ruin the overall quality. I am definitely curious to see what the Pro+ variant can offer.
sold phone but as all chinese brands, this has no chance selling with price range of apple and samsung flagships. no chance at all. they have to be 20% in order to attract steal customers. otherwise, there will be no competition.

Some phones released this year are quite heavy handed on the saturation so would be nice to have the option to adjust it before clicking the picture like there is on this phone

My S22ultra I have custom made 3mm thick carbon fibre rear back which I paid £200
I always read your posts , you seem too know lot about cameras feutres, I learn from your posts, and. I always look forward too you posting. I gain knowledge, I'd like too learn about camera sensors
A shame you can't buy it in UK even though they said it's available in Europe and UK is in Europe

Titani... moreYou literally said "copper rear back or carbon fibre", which implied that you think copper is a good choice as a back panel material. I'm afraid that this is a miscommunication on your side.
I appreciate your detailed explanation of the thermal characteristics and conductivity of carbon fibres as well as other materials though, I definitely learned something new today.
Nick Tegrataker, 26 May 2022If you used copper for the back panel material, you would literally burn your hand lmfao.

Reduce heat, copper is expensive
fact, it is at least 40% more conductive than aluminum. This doesn’t mean that all copper heatsinks are 60% more effective than the aluminum ones. The other materials that go into the heatsink (such as plastic) will have an impact on the conductivity as well.
Gaming generates a lot of heat in your computer. If you game, then it is important to reduce heat in every place you can. This means that a copper heatsink may be the better choice for you. Most gaming computers are starting to exclusively use copper, even if it is a little more expensive.
So weird that GSMArena is literally the only website reporting that Zeiss Natural Colour mode doesn't work even though everyone else says otherwise with samples showing a clear difference in colour rendition between on and off. Is GSMArena's unit really running the latest firmware?
Anyway, it's surprising to see how much better X80 Pro handles foliage and fine textures than X70 Pro+ does, despite using an identical set of sensors for all of its cameras. I would say, just like Xperia, the sharpening is still slightly more heavy-handed than I would like and the lens quality on the main camera needs some improvement (as per GSMArena's comparison chart), but overall image quality is very solid across all 4 lenses and I like the fact that it even offers a slider that lets you adjust the saturation level in the viewfinder. Some truly neat stuff here and there.
Nick Tegrataker, 26 May 2022If you used copper for the back panel material, you would literally burn your hand lmfao.
Als... moreCarbon fiber has the advantage over copper and other metals because it has a very low Coefficient of Thermal expansion. When a material is heated it expands then shrinks again as it cools down. This can be a significant issue when tolerances are very critical. Optical systems, and micro electronics are examples.
Copper has a coefficient of 16.6 (10-6 m/m K) while carbon fiber can be as low as 0. For this reason copper has been combined with carbon fiber/graphitic materials to create a material with significantly smaller Coefficient of linear thermal expansion.
Aluminium and carbon have been tried but the mixture forms a galvanic couple causing corrosion. Copper is a better choice. Corrosion is not a problem and the actual thermal conductivity can be higher than copper alone if the carbon fiber is highly graphitic.

Als... moreThere is a significant range of measured values. It can be quite low in the case of carbon fiber composite measured across the sheet, or really high for materials such as pyrolytic graphite and Diamond.
Carbon Fiber, Graphite, and other carbon derivatives vary greatly depending on the plane measured. Along the fiber, the conductivity is high, against the plane the conductivity is highly reduced.
The higher the carbon content of the carbon fibers, level of carbonization, the higher the thermal conductivity.
Carbon composites are difficult to measure because a great deal depends on the manufacturing method, exact composition of the matrix, air, alignment of fibers, method of measurement, preparation of samples.
There have been several experiments where the thermal conductivity of carbon composites have been increased by doping with carbon nanotubes and other carbon based materials
