Starting at 650 euros doesnt really fit the killer category, even if it ticks many flagship specs.
Anonymous, 22 May 2021IP 53? Are you kidding?! Does that mean it is sneeze proof? Underspec; should be at least IP68!So the 870, 8gb RAM, UFS 3.1 storage, solid cameras, 120hz AMOLED are underspecced now that u know it is IP53 rated?
What about the OS upgrades? MI forgets about upgrading to new Android OS for their older devices. Will they upgrade this one for 3 years or 2 years? What is the point of such monster hardware/chips if they will not be supported just in a year?

Anonymous, 21 May 2021It's a flagship sensor. Stop putting it into mid range category A good sensor but probably still a little weaker than the Hmx sensor. There is a reason why Xiaomi stuck with the HMX on their more premium phones
AnonD-994853, 22 May 2021And mate 40 pro too. But this is in midrange. If you compare Redmi note 10 vs mi 11 night shot... moreThat's an unfair comparison.
Mi 11 has flagship processor and ISP.
Redmi note 10 has mid range Snapdragon 732g ISP.
Sometimes, I feel all such smartphones hold no value because these smartphone brands hardly think about users when designing the devices.

Anonymous, 22 May 2021Man the OIS thing has been debunked uisng the OnePlus 9 vs Galaxy s21And mate 40 pro too. But this is in midrange. If you compare Redmi note 10 vs mi 11 night shots, mi 11 will be less blurry. Even when compared to a52, it is a bit blurry.

AnonD-994853, 22 May 2021Yes, it is an flagship sensor. But not an Ultra Flagship sensor It doesn't have an ultra flagship price either.
Anonymous, 21 May 2021It's a flagship sensor. Stop putting it into mid range category A sensor not makesure a good photo

While for the telephoto, 3x optical zoom with OIS is the standard
For ultrawide, at max is 1/1.56 sensor size as ultrawide tends to be less thick.
If you want an periscope, then an 8 Mp 5x optical zoom will be the maximum. As Vivo X50 Prp has that lens, but the bump is thin and not huge

We now need the sweetspot of sensor size for smartphone current thickness/size.
Anonymous, 20 May 2021Sadly bends like cracker. It’s a flagship guys...So does the iPad pro

2.1 micron pixel in low light much better than 1.6 micron pixel
