This is the kind of writing that sets this site apart from all the rest.

Anonymous, 07 Oct 2016Without kernel source code it's useless. Snapdragon version of Redmi Note 3 is a wiser choice.agreed mediatek creates lot of development problems
Is the phone available in Thailand?

(Like camera, display, body, build quality,tax,OS/UI Updates and other features) Even Zenfone 3 with SD625 can beat Mi5 with SD820 on YourTechGuide YouTube channel.
High edition should have 356 GB more storage ;)

There's tons and the chances are your country has one, if found there it's likely you have a market forum. Third party sites like ibuygou.com have "massive" mark ups.
Personally I have someone in China receive it and forward it to me. You can use the official Market app on your Android phone to make the purchase but will need a Chinese address. The Market app is updated with products more/faster than the Mainland China site.

Honestly, the only thing I learned from getting a redmi is that you are on your own when it comes to driver issues. Maybe mediatek is at fault, but my redmi note 2 still has issues with Bluetooth and the compass.
I'm currently looking at the Mi5/Mi5s and they seem to have a lively community and no major issues. Different price range entirely, of course.
@GSMArena: is a Mi5s review in the works?
AnonD-594398, 07 Oct 2016Dude, it's not a flagship phone. It's placed in mid range section. I was talking about the SoC, not the phone itself. The X20 is meant for high end/flagship devices, yet it only has upper midrange performance comparable to SD652.
"If you've ever bought a Xiaomi before, then you already know the channels to go through" - What channels anyone please?
One plus 2 got a score is 84000 in about 6 then u have not shiwn
Thanks for the review

I doubt we will see other real international releases in the near future from them.
AnonD-594398, 07 Oct 2016Dude, it's not a flagship phone. It's placed in mid range section. and with much more cheaper price comparing to other mid-range phones...
