While the current MacBook Air rumors suggest a refreshed 13-inch model is on its way later this year we may get an even larger model in 2023. The latest Display Supply Chain Consultants (DSCC) quarterly report suggests the 15-inch MacBook Air will arrive next year with the largest screen to date on a MacBook Air series laptop. The report also mentions a new larger base model iPad which will succeed the current 10.2-inch model next year.

Apple has been flirting with the idea of a 15-inch MacBook Air since 2008 as revealed in leaked documents that surfaced thanks to the Epic Games v Apple legal trial. Apple ultimately went with the more portable 13-inch MacBook Air and the rest is history but a 15-inch model will be a welcome addition fitting right between the 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pros in terms of screen real estate.
Not much else is known about the rumored 15-inch MacBook Air for now but we hope more info will surface in the meantime.
True, 13.3" is very portable to carry it when you fly or daily at work office. Once in an office you hook up it to an usb-c to hdmi adapter and use it with a large monitor or at home with your 55-65 inch TV. You do not need a 15" - 16"...
If you don't feel the need, doesn't mean everyone wouldn't need it!! I have a 15.6" laptop and even it feels cramped when I'm working/multi-tasking. Idk how much difference a 16:10 16" screen would make, but that'...
Imagine slimmer bezels and you can have a 14" screen in the same size. So 15" is only 1" bigger, but with 15% larger area
