DeepIn2U, 10 Jun 2024Go ahead a d waling around with these EIMs and an adapter for use on yiue smartphone. An dongle? What's the problem with using a dongle?
In exchange you get 10 times the sound quality, no batteries to worry about, and 10 times the lifespan.

Truthear Hexa, Simgot EA500, Simgot Crinacle Zero:Red, Tin T3+, etc. etc. etc.
There's literally too many to name.
Apple-inspired? Did Apple invent earphones?

I think its better for calls but using it for runs its suboptimal. I hope Samsung will keep both designs on instead of completely going over to Apple side.
jiyen235, 10 Jun 2024EW, their buds series was one of the BEST looking buds for me. I was waiting for the Buds3 Pro... moreHuawei Freebuds Pro series and OnePlus Buds Pro series have stem designs and they don't look cheap AT ALL, in fact I have OG OnePlus Buds Pro, Galaxy Buds 2, Galaxy Buds 2 Pro and Beats Fit Pro, and the most premium case and feel is from the OnePlus, not from Samsung's nor Apple's Beats, both have cases that feels like cheap plastic unlike OnePlus Buds Pro, which has a really sturdy feeling and is a thin case.
Talking about the most premium feeling of those four buds I have, besides the cases, OnePlus Buds Pro and Beats Fit Pro are the most premium feeling build, not any Samsung earbuds.
I prefer this design, because current design has terrible mics in noisier environments, not to mention the terrible oversensitive touch controls on Galaxy Buds 2 and Buds 2 Pro, I leave controls disabled because of this, the best mics I ever tested on a TWS was from first gen OnePlus Buds Pro, which has similar stem design.
I don't care if TWS earbuds with stems were originally Apple creation and reminiscent from AirPods, it's used by many manufacturers because it's a tried and true design that helps a lot with voice pickup.
Jason, 10 Jun 2024Why does Samsung want to be Apple so bad? Are sales saying differently?Just takes 1 google search of how many companies have long stem design, but sure it's only Samsung copying.
Finally. I'm tired of using Huawei
WhoCaresTM, 10 Jun 2024Yeah...no thanks. I can 2 or even 3 high quality IEMs for the price of the buds2 pro, let alo... moreGo ahead a d waling around with these EIMs and an adapter for use on yiue smartphone.
Design evolving backwards.
ThunderCrackR, 10 Jun 2024Horrible. I was waiting for them, was decided to buy as I needed a refresh. Not anymore, will ... more1st the Buds+ is NOT a slimmer case it's larger by volume and less pocketilable!
But I agree this design with the stem sucks, as it'll lead to more lost buds whe. Taking off a sweater or shirt.
A stem is a point where a flick will grant you a flying bud soon to also be lost if not bounce and dance on the floor for damage.
This week aline I've found 5 AirPods Pro's single buds on the TTC subway lmao.
I wait this buds but not this design I don't buy it!
Samsung total idiot year after year trow product costumer's don't want!
bean tws are the ugliest on earth. thank god
jiyen235, 10 Jun 2024EW, their buds series was one of the BEST looking buds for me. I was waiting for the Buds3 Pro... moreFor Sony, it's the best, see here from my POV on XM4 :
https://www.gsmarena.com/newscomm-63163.php#2896564
And I had severals buds. Glaxy Buds, Buds+, Live, Buds Pro, Buds2 Pro & now with Buds FE / Buds2Pro since XM4 are kinda dead.
I really hoped that the stem design was a lie ... Well, It appear I'll drop to another maker too then.
EW, their buds series was one of the BEST looking buds for me. I was waiting for the Buds3 Pro but seems like I have to go with the Buds2 Pro. Stem design headphones look CHEAP because they look like Apple copycats. But since Samsung has been copying Apple for a while now (their sh*tty tactics like little to no hardware changes, their iPhone X type camera island from the Note10 series, etc.) ig this was bound to happen. Shame that Samsung's Buds are actually great, at least based on FR. Their ownership of Harman and especially AKG certainly led to this.
Only Sony and Sennheiser make good looking TWS headphones now. Sony being the only one with at least decent tuning, but still not that great I think it's too muddy. Something in between Sony and Samsung's tuning would be perfect, just like Moondrop's IEMs like the Aria (which I use lol)
Ultimately sad to see the buds lineup lose its identity and originality, yet I am happy about all the other rumoured upgrades.
Why does Samsung want to be Apple so bad? Are sales saying differently?
Yeah...no thanks.
I can 2 or even 3 high quality IEMs for the price of the buds2 pro, let alone the new ones.
On top of that I can use the IEMs for decades to come, whereas these wireless buds are just e-waste in 3 years.
