Unfortunately nowadays thiefs are selling the phone to a store which theb dismantles the device and sells the parts, as original components have more value and quality than aftermarket ones. So goodluck finding your phone in one piece.

they are basically adding features that were added before by phone companies. I tried on samsung, huawei and vivo, if you reset it forcefully it will ask for your account after reset.
On huawei you can even locate it after a reset which is very cool.
