Price is literally almost same, and 14 pro max has 120hz screen, bigger and better main camera sensor and another 3x telephoto camera not to mention that it's sturdier than 15 plus, and also battery last longer on 14 pro max

you have to suffer, 15 Oct 2023other flagships does that. no surprise. How?
Samsung once added Live Focus Video feature to the A80, then brought it to other phones.
Sure, it's also trying to make features a selling point, but not as greedy as apple.
Hey guys from GSMARENA
i have read your review, you did a great job.
But i notice something, neither the iPhone 15 nor iPhone 15 Plus offer a 120Hz display, just like the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus
can you please correct me if i am wrong :)
best regards,
Branko

15 plus is basically 14 pro max without 120hz and telephoto. but at least usb c.
€989 15 and €1139 15 plus devices with 128GB storage and 60Hz refresh rate...uau...lol
These comparisons are really cool, and I hope you guys keep making them, but can you please proof read them before posting? Not a single one yet without at least 1 obvious mistake.

Well let’s see. Competitors to the iPhone 15 in size are the Zenfone 10 and Galaxy S23. The Zenfone 10 has a plastic back so it’s not directly comparable. The Galaxy S23 has a rated capacity of 14.68 Wh https://de.ifixit.com/Teardown/Galaxy+S23+Teardown/158006?lang=en (because as we all (should) know, mAh are not directly comparable between batteries with different voltage). The iPhone 15 has a rated capacity of 12.981 Wh. That is a difference of 12%. And the Galaxy S23 is not „levels slimmer and lighter“ than the iPhone 15. It is 2.6% thinner and 1.8% lighter. And the discussed differences in battery capacity, size and weight can be down to design differences, like the additional mid-frame on the iPhone 15 and the larger vibration motor, which probably take up more space than what is saved by having one less camera. Also, it’s entirely possible that Apple doesn’t let the iPhone reach as high/low charge states as the Galaxy. There have been reports (see Mrwhosetheboss) about stored Samsung phones being especially suspectible to swollen batteries when stored unused for longer periods of time, and a higher/lower charge ceiling can be a reason for that.

You answered it yourself, it will add weight and size, and for some users like me, the weight and size is already too much on the 15. not every phone has to weigh more than 190 grams
>while at least it will give a very good battery life for modern usage.
The 15 already does that
>I hate it that if consumer wants an iPhone with reasonable battery life, they have to buy the Plus or Pro Max.
Or buy a battery case if you want more battery in a 6.1 inch device. Adding battery with a case is possible. Removing battery capacity from an existing device is not possible
Real dilemma is 14 pro max vs 15 plus. They have same chipset ram and battery but some other companents are different. And the price of course.
Get the size you prefer
/thread
The Plus is not worth it with that price, the normal iPhone is already expensive but the Plus is unbearably so

It's a choice of Apple not to use bigger battery, but it doesn't affect size....(that much).

Android users will bemoan the specifications, but apple provides better subjective user experience. Why 120Hz? meaningless and 60Hz is already smooth thanks to the refined software. Apples neural processing means photos could look good even with small single lens, this is a lot. The software experience is probably half the price of the phone in terms of value, no lagdroid compares. Plus the slower charging helps preserve the battery lifetime to around 800 cycles
I would take this over the Xperia 1 V or Xiaomi 13 Ultra anyday.
Now compare the 14 Plus and the 15 Plus, please
