Only downside is there is some glitch that unread notifications disappear from the lock screen as if they were read.
Usually my lock screen well be empty, no notifications. But when I unlocked my device they are all on my status bar π€·π½ββοΈ

I have my important photos and videos of family, friends, holidays etc copied to a computer SSD and also a memory card.
As for why I keep 10 years worth of photos, videos in my internal phone storage, loads of people also do it.
When I'm out and about meeting different people sometimes they like to see my photos of different countries and places I've visited.
It's a lot faster than using cloud photo storage plus you don't need a mobile signal to access them!

I'd utilize some cloud storage service and keep the phone storage space lot less occupied. Now with a 256 GB phone, I'm using around 90 GB since I took videos of storms lately. They're already on cloud, so I can just remove them from my phone. Why not. Connection here is very stable and usually quite fast too. No data usage limitations. I guess on a limited data plan, this could become an issue. Or location, in which mobile network coverage isn't optimal.
Samsusguy69, 19 Jul 2023We need 4TB storage and 36 GB ramNo, we don't.

Then why dont you, build a computer like cellphone, a powerful chip, that can run like a computer, so that everybody wll depend on their cellphone, because everybody does using cellphone 24 hours a day, every second, every minute than using a laptop or desktop...so that the number of series every brand of cellphones will lessen from upgrading time to time...we don't blame the marketing strategy ln every company since money is powerful in every sense...
sa11oum, 18 Jul 2023Some people will not really be bothered by a mid-performance camera. The rest of the phone is ... moreExactly ! I don't care about the camera's ! Most important : Chipset 8 Gen 2 and Charger 150 Watt.
I can now use this phone as server running 24/7
Now this called a Mobile Phone learn Google how to make phones see 24gb ram and 1 tb storage you still are on 8gb ram and 12 gb lol don't think about future just live in past lol. 150 sw fast charger.
Anonymous, 18 Jul 2023iphone still use LPDDR4X ramThe iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max use LPDDR5 RAM.
Anonymous, 18 Jul 2023So it's easy for others but impossible for Samsung? Add 16GB ram finally. No 12GB anymore.Same reason why they, and other established brands like Apple and Google, donβt offer 1000W super-duper fast charging on their phones, lol.

Ten years worth of photos, videos from 2014 always transferring them to each new phone I get. Lot's of great memories captured πΈ though I could probably shave around 3GB or so off from the unnecessary photos.
In 2023 currently I would say 256GB should be the base amount of storage that even midranges offer. My next phone will definitely be at least 512GB. If money wasn't a issue I would get 1TB storage variant but I have a couple of expensive foreign holiday trips coming up this year βοΈ
Anonymous, 18 Jul 2023Let me guess : imx890 paired with 8MP super wide and 2MP depth. I'm pretty sure it's gonna be close yeah ...
In the past, they was something like expandable storage, perhaps they'll bring back this as novelty feature when they haven't any ideas anymore π¬
"The OnePlus 12 is tipped to retain the same 6.7-inch curved AMOLED display bearing a 2K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It will have LTPO technology for an adaptive refresh rate. The leaked renders revealed a center-aligned punch-hole cutout and thin bezels surrounding the screen. The upcoming flagship is expected to come with minor design changes.
On the imaging front, the OnePlus 12 is said to feature a 50MP main sensor with OIS, a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and an OIS-enabled 64MP telephoto unit with 3x optical zoom. Upfront, the device will have a 32MP selfie snapper. There will be a Hasselblad camera system onboard.
Under the hood, the OnePlus 12 will reportedly be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor that is expected to be announced at Qualcomm Summit in October. The device is expected to pack up to 16GB LPDDR5x RAM and 512GB UFS 4.0 storage. The next-generation flagship is tipped to be backed by a 5,400mAh battery unit compared to 5,000mAh on the current OnePlus 11. It will retain the same 100W wired charging and also support 50W wireless charging. Software-wise, the device will ship with Android 14 OS. "
