Agimat, 29 Jun 2021Soon Huawei will go back to googleNo they won't. Even if they could they wouldn't. They are trying to become independent
SpiritWolf, 28 Jun 2021'Said the guy who lied about HDR somehow oversaturating the colours...' Actually,... moreYep, I remember some phone brands used to do that back in 2014-2016 as well. It's really good to see that is no longer the case lol.
If they are asking near $800 dollars for generic mid-range specifications and the typical mediocre cameras. Imagine how much they'll ask for a SD888 Plus and maybe some good sensor... And for what? The market is already full of them and they lost the exclusive camera technology from Huawei. They now use the sensors that every other brand use.
Release such an expensive phones at the fall of the year without add something new and extraordinary to the market is a doa.

You are the laughing stock on this site joker
palkos88, 28 Jun 2021Nice to hear, that Sony will be on time (as usual) with their not-so-fresh mark III π Hahaha..oh wow so funny...Not so fresh brings you a periscope dual camera, louder speakers, 120hz display, faster charging with bigger battery and Gorilla Glass Victus..nice try troll
Soon Huawei will go back to google

Actually, back when HDR wasn't a common thing on smartphones, I tried some third party HDR app on my then Xperia S. And it did just that. Oversaturated the colours and called it day. :-)
βa mobile experience that will fulfill the needs of even the most demanding usersβ
Too funny, people who demand a power that they will not even see the difference from the previous in their daily use
Nice to hear, that Sony will be on time (as usual) with their not-so-fresh mark III π

Probably the most informed comments on this site in terms of smartphone cameras. That comment must have been purely meant to antagonize

Tell us the benefit... moreAlso, from GSMArena's news page:
"The sixth-gen Qualcomm Hexagon 780 AI processor can now deliver 32TOPS (Tera Operations Per Second), which is improved from 26TOPS on the regular Snapdragon 888."
Read more carefully next time.

Anonymous, 28 Jun 2021Good afternoon, Mr Zero Photography Knowledge.
How've you been?
Tell us the benefit... moreThe plus versions of SD SoCs are usually better binned version of the same chipsets without the plus scheme, which are more efficient hence can be clocked a little higher (with the exception of SD865+, but older ones were just fine), or operate at the similar clock speed when they are not carrying out any processor intensive tasks and save a bit of battery juice. It's not just for a slight Antutu score increase smh.
"Mr Zero Photography Knowledge"
Said the guy who lied about HDR somehow oversaturating the colours, lied about how Sony's regular Bayer sensors are generations ahead of their QB sensors, spewed nonsense on the relationship between the pixel size and the SNR while showing a blatant hostility against numerous non-Japanese companies including Apple, Samsung, Xiaomi, BBK, Huawei etc. in many occasions. Yeah, get the hell out of my face.

Tell us the benefits of increasing one core frequancy by 0.2GHz.
Something that is not related to antutu score, of course.
FlexLex, 28 Jun 2021The camera setup would be downgraded With a high resolution main sensor, garbage ultrawide ... moreHonor 50 Pro had been released after the company's restructuring due to its divestment to Digital China, and it was not supposed to be a direct successor to a high end Honor series that had used be sold by Huawei (it was in fact more of an upgrade from Honor 40). This Magic 3, on the other hand, will be a proper flagship from Honor and is naturally thought to come with proper high end specs, too.

Increasing clock 0.2 - 0.3GHz is not gonna make any positive difference.
Mainly , when it is done to one core only.
Just makes it use more power.
This is just to fool costumers.

Anonymous, 28 Jun 2021China brands use the Plus version every year just to say their phones have higher antutu score... moreYou sounds really like a jealous kid π
They do it to have a good chip ofc... Personally I would prefer Kirin instead of a full SD spy chip.
Keep it fullscreen like magic 2 but use under display camera this time instead of manual slider and include a big battery this time
