I guess this should be avoided to empower full fledged Android Mobile Applications Development This should be taken care of.
I rooted my phone SGS 2 and installed Adfree App from the market. Problem solved!

You should stop reading right there. Any research where Microsoft is involved publishes FUD instead of facts.
sr, 21 Mar 2012if there is any possible to remove that ads cookie there's only one solution: install droidwall to prevent internet connection from the apps. :D
1. Install task manager.
2. ????????
3. Profit.
if there is any possible to remove that ads cookie
Hard to believe - download and taking location takes insignificant amount of time while app is running, especially in case of games. If level takes (say) 120 seconds, while taking position and downloading 1 second - this cannot consume 75% of power, especially comparing to high CPU/GPU/screen usage.
May be, in some special cases, when ad displaying was badly implemented.

you can stop this.
if your phone is rooted. install two apps.
1) DroidWall.
It is a firewall for your phone, now you can deny access to all apps except the ones you allow. or allow all except the ones you block.
2) AdFree
Its is an ad blocker for your phone. (like your browser ad blocker).
I use these two apps and they work beautifully together.
now you can enjoy all free ad supported games and apps without the adds ;-)

Nico, 20 Mar 2012Why buy a smartphone and turn all the connexions Off? It's useless for you, I advise you a No... morefirst it is very dangerous for your pockets to be permanent on line because many apps are eating kilobytes even you do not touch the mobile for 5 hours. many stupids after using siri outside wifi, in hsdpa, even in roaming have the big ugly surprise of 200 euros bills. pesonally i use my smartphone "offline" for: talking very much for my business, listen to music to relax, i do many photos and videos with chicks, strange or beautiful cars, drunk bushmans, retards, friends in da club drunk and pissed, etc. i do not play any games, i do not check mail or stupid facebook every minute. if you shut down all hsdpa and data package, but periodically, at 4-5 hours make a short check of mail, you can use the smartphone double as stanby time and i do not think you'll lose a 10.000 euros business in this period of time.

It's useless for you, I advise you a Nokia 1100 if you're looking for a good battery life.
