This technically isn't the first. There's the TCL LX which is a budget-oriented phone that you can find for like $30, it's got an 18:9 display surprisingly
L973, 31 Aug 2019Emphasis on "international"No. I believe the emphasis here was more on the OLED technology. TCL has been at IFA catching attention since 2015 at least right? This time the oled tech will be on some sort of smart/mobile device. Whether that device goes international as TCL is to be determined or maybe that road map is in flight. I know what you mean. The point is folks just want you to read about it.
AnonD-492870, 30 Aug 2019First ever eh? What about the TCL 950? Or many others...?Emphasis on "international"
If their phones are the same as their TV's then market will just be flooded with more trash
It's not the first. TCL released three smartphones last year in Brazil. They were lackluster devices with bad performance and outdated specs.
First ever eh? What about the TCL 950? Or many others...?
As Alcatel Mobile is under Nokia now, TCL is likely to realised that Nokia would pass the Alcatel phone manufacturing to the same one as HMD Nokia phone, so they have to develop their own brand to keep their business
I hope it flops. Their TVs are shit in-terms of quality and its Interface lags a lot just like their Alcatel.
Hold it, I'm using a TCL phone, I can see it in the device info. From memory, If you go to their website, you can see a few models.
This site doesn't cover all the small brands of phones. Instead we have to pay over $300 to get 4k on a small Palm phone, and even more on the small Sharp. I know, I tried looking for small cheap 4k phones. Could you guys cover these models. There was a really great French or Chinese one before, but I couldn't find it again.
TCL basically is in charge of Alcatel and blackberry phones and trust me these phones get very laggy real quick
