Anonymous, 29 Jan 2019Everyone knows you are lying and don't own an iPad cos all apple users know that for the last ... moreyour right, I don't own an ipad, I own 2 iPads.
Swiping left and right on an iPad is not convenient as you say. Now I know you don't have one. iPad is not as small as a smartphone and the form factor is 4:3. You need to swipe more than half the screen to go back or to go forward. Thats convenient for you? In android I just press back button on bottom where my thumb is already. I guess I take 2x less time in android than iOS. Using that key more than 100x a day...makes que difference in productivity.
I'm using swipes since my nokia n9 and my bb10. Apple just copy them like they always do.
You need to learn swipes, it's not intuitive. It's against the original iOS philosophy that anyone could use it without learn anything. You just made my point showing that there is another way to do things. Keep it iSheep.

Which is the most convenient thing ever.
IOS 12 killed the control center on older iPad pros. Apple just said F our past customers, adapt to our new controls or peace.
Anonymous, 28 Jan 2019You just heap praise on Android and bash iOS. Many improvements had to be done to Android due ... moreI'm not bashing iOS, I'm just telling what I think of the 2 OS. I still have 1 iPad mini 4 (waiting for 5) and 1 iPad Air. If anyone ask me what do I sugest for a tablet, my first pick is always iPad. It's years ahead of any other tablet. The quality of the device, the battery life is fantastic. What I don't like it's the UX and wheres going to. The different philosophy was true 5 years ago. Now iOS is as "complex" as Android. In fact there are android versions simpler than iOS. I make apps for both OS, and testing in Android is 10x faster. To make an app for iOS you need to have a Mac, create some keys/certificates/profiles for a particular app and connect phisically to an device. give permission to that device, and only then you can pass that app to the device. On android I just copy the apk to google drive, open it on any device and thats it. I could tell you 100x other things that are faster and more productive on Android. For 98% of the people this doesn't really matter since they only use the device for facebook/instagram/snapchat/mail/web browsing. For that an android that costs 200$ do what an 1500$ device does. People chose what they wan't. It's their money. My point is that maybe if they are more educated about mobile devices, they make better choices. If i would buy an iPhone, it would be iphone XS, not because of the OS but because of the form factor. Android manufactures are losing me because of the huge phones they are launching. Only Google 3 cough my eye and again only because of form factor.
I want an up-to-date iPad Mini !!!
new ipod? o3o

Many improvements had to be done to Android due to mistakes and bugs did you ever think about that? In the end, both are just mobile operating systems, and while there is a lot of overlap, they have very different philosophies. And since people are also different, how about letting people choose what they want? It's not really something to get your panties in a twist about.

My points about iOS is not about any particular device. If you have a problem with your device, that's not android fault, blame to One plus. Next time get a proper phone, not a "flag bullshit killer".
My point about iOS is related to it's UX. I'm a mobile developer and I know iOS from almost from the beginning. I had a iphone 3g. It was smooth, almost 500 apps on store, I knew them all. Easy to navigate, 1 button, no use of brain, it was years ahead of the competetion. fast forward and +1million apps and bunch of new features added, the menus, are not pratical anymore with so many new feature added, the device config is not easy to access, grouping apps are pain in the *** (i can have alfabetic order, news first, etc on android). It's an old UX and it was not build to be able to handle so many changes and apps. It needs a refresh fast or it will be 5% market share in 5 years most. Mobile changed a lot and fast. Android have so many competetion, it grew faster and better. It have faults from decisions made in the beginning, but it's way better than iOS right now. But thats not enough for google. They didn't sleep and are building its next OS (fuschia) that will eventually substitute Android. iOS was amazing 10 years ago...even 5 years ago was not bad, right now, I feel bad for them. The simplistic aproach so anyone could use it is gone and the new things they put in are just patchs to an OS that was not build to be so big.

Would you look at that, an actual budget iPhone! Not that $800 "budget" XR!

B'there are some specific tools that I need, but they only exist on. IOS. Ain't gonna spend 750$ for iPhone. So I'm taking the iPod touch. Third of the price with splendid iOS experience
Just imagine that all new iPad will be foldable. Other than this, new iPad will be the same as the very beginning of iPad.
