Flight 1 in March marked a significant milestone as the first Jackal AOVs reached orbit. Flight 2 is planned within the next 12 months, with the goal for a Jackal to image other spacecraft while maneuvering in proximity.

RPO
Rendezvous & Proximity Operations
To demonstrate a new commercial capability and capture mission data, a Jackal AOV will conduct RPO: A set of maneuvers spacecraft perform when they approach and operate near each other. Examples include re-fueling, re-supplying space stations, or inspecting debris or spacecraft. RPO is one of the most challenging space missions to master.
