Xiaomi has announced the global launch date of its much-awaited series Xiaomi 14 series. As per the announcement the series will be launched in the global market on February 25th, 2024 during the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. The announcement does mention the Xiaomi 14 series but not the phones that will be unveiled.

When the company launched the series last year in China it came with the standard and the Pro model. It could have been the same for the global market in case the Ultra model news would not have come. Now it is being said that the company can drop the Pro model and launch the Xiaomi 14 and 14 Ultra models in the global market. Recently the general manager of Xiaomi in an X post wrote “I can’t wait to unveil the Xiaomi 14 Ultra”. At the same time, it can be said that the company can launch standard and Ultra in the global market. For now, nothing for sure can be said in this regard, and requires time.
Let’s get to know about the specs of the already-launched Xiaomi 14 and 14 Pro in China.
Xiaomi 14 features a 6.36-inch wide OLED display with a 93.3% screen-to-body ratio. It is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor paired with up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM. In the camera section, the smartphone has a triple camera setup featuring a 50 MP sensor with an ultrawide sensor and a 3.2x telephoto sensor. It is backed by a 4610 mAh battery that supports 90W wired charging, 50W wireless charging and 10W reverse wireless charging.
The Xiaomi 14 Pro smartphone features a 6.78-inch wide 2K C8 OLED LTPO display with up to 120 Hz refresh rate and 3000 nits of peak brightness. It is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset with up to 16GB RAM. It sports a triple camera setup and is backed by a 4880 mAh battery that supports 120W wired charging, 50W wireless charging, and 10W reverse wireless charging.
