Here is the list of upcoming Laptops and Here’s What We Know

As per the sources, we came to know that businesses have promised the world laptops, but the products have yet to arrive. Computex 2022 is finally done after a month of laptop announcements. It’s the Computex that wasn’t in some ways. It was an interesting time to be a laptop reporter in the first half of this year. Big ideas were also on the way, according to every corporation and its mother. From monitors to phones, there were a plethora of bizarre gadgets on display.

Moreover, Computex, the year’s largest laptop-specific trade expo, took place at the end of May. This would’ve been the ideal time for some of these ground-breaking disclosures to be made public. Alternatively, receive a release date. Companies don’t have to reinvent the wheel every time they release a laptop. However, it’s important to note that a range of phones that appear to be on the verge of expanding or redefining their categories are still on the way.

The following are some of the most eagerly awaited products that were introduced earlier this year:

  • Asus’s Zenbook 17-Fold OLED
  • The XPS 13 2-in-1
  • The non-enterprise version of the HP Elite Dragonfly Chromebook
  • HP Dragonfly G3
  • Lenovo’s ThinkBook Plus Gen 3
  • ThinkPad Z-series
  • RDNA 3, Next Generation AMD Radeon GPUs

Talking about these delays, according to Stephen Kleynhans, Vice President of Gartner Research, are primarily due to supply chain concerns, and a large part of it is due to China’s current COVID scenario, which has resulted in shutdowns in key technology companies.

The Laptop's Big Year Is Still Awaiting and Here’s What We Know

According to Kleynhans, it’s not just that enterprises are having difficulties getting current-gen equipment into their hands; it also has to do with the execution of last-gen orders. If a customer ordered 1,000 machines three or four months ago but has yet to acquire them, they don’t want to launch this year’s model while those orders are still pending.

Furthermore, the PC business is hardly the worst affected or even the most significant industry when it comes to supply chain inefficiencies. If 17-inch foldable PCs wait longer to arrive than planned, the world will continue to spin. And laptop delays are far from the most serious or widespread effect of this epidemic.
