GTA 6 Trailer gets 72 million views in just 16 hours, it may break BTS record

Finally, the GTA 6 trailer has been dropped by Rockstar Games on YouTube before the scheduled time. This was motivated by the early leak of the trailer that Rockstar Games addressed and wrote on X “Our trailer has leaked so please watch the real thing on YouTube”.

This trailer video has garnered 72 million views in just 16 hours. This trailer video is expected to break the record of the BTS music video Dynamite which got 101 million views and that too within 24 hours of its release. As per the trailer the game will be released in 2025.

The video introduces gamers to the first female protagonist, Lucia, whose journey starts in prison. It shows fast supercars, and guns and hints at the integration of social media through snippets of TikTok, and live stream. In some of the last scenes of the trailer, the female protagonist can be seen with a male character who can be her partner in the game. In the upcoming days, we may get to see many trailers thus giving a more clear view of the game.

The GTA 5 whose over 190 million copies had been sold came over a decade ago. And this long wait seems to have finally come to an end for those who want to re-live that nostalgic moment of playing this game.
