boAt, one of the leading wearables company based in India, has unveiled a new smartwatch device for its Indian customers. The latest device is also revealed to soon be put up for sale in the country.

boAt Lunar Link Smartwatch Unveiled
The latest boAt Lunar Link smartwatch features an immersive 1.4″ round HD display screen with a brightness rate of 500 nits, offering vivid visuals to its users at any lighting conditions. The body is also IP67-rated with dust and water resistance.
The device as suggested also supports Bluetooth calling and to take the users’ calling experience forward, an intuitive dial pad along with clear built-in microphone and speaker are also provided.
The smartwatch also has more than 100 sports modes, covering multiple sports and physical activities, making it the perfect all-in-one fitness companion.
Health and wellness have also been given attention. Heart rate monitor, SpO2 monitor, sleep scores, stress monitor, guided breathing assistance, and menstrual tracker are some of the fitness monitors/trackers/assistants on the device.
A Daily Activity Tracker Sedentary Alert system is also part of the smartwatch. Steps, distance, and calories will be monitored and evaluated in order to maintain a balanced and active lifestyle.
On the functionality/productivity side, the device has features such as Quick Replies, Notification Alerts, DND Mode, and Find My Phone/Watch. To add, the integrated Ok Google and Siri voice assistants will also be helping to amplify the user experience.
Other notable features are the Utility Unit, Weather, Camera Control, Music Control, Timer & Stopwatch, Games, Alarm, Google Fit & Apple Health, and many more.
Regarding the battery life, a total battery backup of up to 5 days is being claimed on the device. With Bluetooth calling function turned on, the battery is said to be reduced to up to 2 days.
Price and Availability
As of now, boAt’s Lunar Link smartwatch has been listed on the brand’s official Indian website and also on Amazon’s India shopping website. An exact launch date is still not yet available, however, both the platforms have the tagline “Coming Soon”, suggesting of an imminent release. About the price, the smartwatch is revealed to have an actual list price of Rs. 6,999, but it will probably be made available at an even lower discounted offer price. Four color choices will also be offered to customers – Black, Grey, Beige, and Rose Pink.
