Amazfit has now introduced yet another smartwatch called the Amazfit Active Edge to the Indian audience. We previously reported that the smartwatch was teased on Amazon, and now the same smartwatch is available for sale in India from Feb 27th.
Lets talk about what specs this smartwatch carries
As for the screen size, it comes with a 1.32-inch LTPO display. It is a light weight smartwatch which carries a weight of 54.4G and has a dimension of 1.81 x 1.81 x 0.42 inches.
It runs on Zepp OS 2.0 and if you recall Amazfit recently announced Zepp OS 3.5 at the MWC 2024. However, the company hasn’t shared any details yet on whether it will be upgraded to the current OS or not. Also, this watch will work on devices which have AndroidOS 7.0/ iOS 14.0 or above.
This smartwatch comes with a 370 mAh battery and can last up to 16 days on typical usage, up to 24 days with battery saver mode, up to 10 days on heavy usage, and up to 20 hours with continuous GPS usage.
Now coming to its features, this smartwatch offers Strength Exercise Recognition, Multisport Tracker, AI-driven Zepp Coach, and GPS. Not only this but it also has a Fitness Tracker, Weather, Sleep Monitor, Messages, and Heart Rate Monitor.
The company claims it to have a water resistance depth of 100 meters.
Pricing of Amazfit Active Edge
The Amazfit Active Edge is currently available on both the Amazfit website and Amazon.in for a price of Rs 12,999. It comes in three colour variants namely, Lava Black, Mint Green, and Midnight Pulse.
Now Samsung is also gearing up for its next fitness band called Galaxy Fit 3 which is also expected to launch soon in India. So it would be worth to see how both of these will compete against each other.
