Samsung Galaxy A70s (SM-A707F) Benchmarked with Snapdragon SM6150 SoC and 6GB RAM

Samsung Galaxy A70s, the successor of already released Galaxy A70, has revealed its specs in a listing on Geekbench benchmarking website.

The appearance of the phone with model number SM-A707F has confirmed the processor and its RAM variant. The processor is the mid-range Qualcomm Snapdragon SM6150 SoC, which is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 SoC. There is 6GB RAM inside the phone and it will ship with Android 9 Pie out of the box.

The single and multi-core scores in Geekbench have been found to be 2365 and 6372 respectively. Not surprisingly, the scores are similar to those of Galaxy A70, which was released with the same processor. The major difference between Galaxy A70 and Galaxy A70s is just the upgraded camera specs and the dimensions and other features of the phone are expected to be the same.

First Phone with 64MP Sensor?

There have been reports that Samsung has been working on a 64MP camera and that it will release a phone with the 64MP sensor later this year. While both Realme and Redmi have already confirmed the presence of phones with 64MP camera, Samsung definitely doesn’t want to miss out. According to reports, Samsung will  release the phone with this sensor in the present quarter Q3. And this could well be later this month or sometime during September.

A new Galaxy A-series phone has been rumored to become the first Samsung phone to get the 64MP camera sensor. Reliable Samsung tipster Ice Universe had also suggested that Samsung is working on a new A-series phone with this sensor and could release in the months of September or October.

The fact that Samsung Galaxy A70s is an upcoming A-series phone and that the phone has appeared in Geekbench today, this could be phone with the 64MP sensor and it could be released a little bit earlier, probably next month.
