Motorola Moto G71 5G (XT2169-1) Spotted on FCC with 5000 mAh Battery

Motorola could launch Moto G71 5G soon, as the device has passed through FCC.

Motorola is reportedly gearing up to launch at least two new G-series 5G phones soon – Moto G51 5G and Moto G71 5G. While the company has not confirmed the arrival of any phones, these have been appearing on certification sites.

The Motorola Moto G71 5G carries model number XT2169-1, as per an image shared by PassionateGeekz. Today, we have spotted the same model number on FCC certification, which reveals some key details about the phone, as well as hints at an imminent launch.

The Moto G71 5G is reportedly code-named “CORFU”. According to the FCC listing, Motorola XT2169-1 is a dual-sim phone with a total of five 5G bands – n5, n7, n66, n77, and n78. The device supports connectivity features such as 4G LTE, Bluetooth, and NFC. It has an MC300 series charger and NG50  battery, which has a capacity of 5,000mAh.

FCC document further reveals that the new Motorola phone MH191 earphone, which confirms a 3.5mm headphone jack inside the phone. As of now, there is not much known about the device. But we can expect more details to surface online in the coming weeks through leaks or certification sites.

Moto NG50 battery

In related news, Motorola is also gearing up to launch Moto G51 5G. It was recently spotted on Geekbench with several key specifications. As per the listing, the phone will be driven by Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G chipset paired with 4GB RAM. The device will boot Android 11 out of the box. It could be a decent upgrade over the Moto G50 5G, which has a 90Hz IPS LCD display, MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset, 48MP triple rear cameras, 13MP selfie snapper, and a 5,000mAh battery with 15W fast charging.
