Unless you're with a provider that gives you a good rebated price, I don't really see dynamic island as the game changing feature we'd hoped it would be. But maybe I'm wrong. Personally, it didn't get me excited enough to upgrade from my 12 pro last year and won't this year either.
Dynamic island is a short-term feature, once Apple figures out how to remove the need for it and put everything under the glass it will be gone.
