The art installation by portals.org that linked NYC and Dublin was intended to stream for six months with no interruptions to create an uninterrupted visual bridge; but it only lasted six days. While the vast majority of people had wholesome fun, a couple people ruined it for everyone.

1moA couple of people didn't ruin it for everyone, removing the portal did. By removing it, you give in to saboteurs. I'm often critical regarding the use of AI, but this would/could have been a good use for it to blur (or substitute) malicious parts of the portal feed.
