What are the potential long term health effects of these modern vehicles exposing us to 77 GHz RADAR? New in cabin sensors are already mandated to detect babies left in hot cars. I think that starts with the 2028 model year, not sure. Exposing the thin skull of a baby to microwave energies just doesn't give me the warm fuzzies. What happens when a complex modulation of 5G at 28.375 GHz, 24, 60 or 77 GHz from In-Cabin Radar, 77 GHz from external vehicle Radar (We are all being exposed via new fancy tech such as self-braking, self-parking active sensors etc), and 5.9 GHz from Vehicle Infrastructure (V2X) mix biologically? I doubt anyone knows.

Are your SWIR cameras falling short in detecting what you need to see? It might not be the SWIR band's fault, but rather the tool you are using. In our newly released paper “Why Signal to Noise Matters in SWIR Imaging”, we dive deep into the critical importance of Signal to Noise Ratio (SNR) in SWIR imaging and why having the right camera matters. Signal: Learn how quantum efficiency (QE) plays a significant role in capturing light effectively in the SWIR spectrum. InGaAs detectors are superior, with over 80% QE between 950-1650nm. Noise: Discover how dark current and read noise impact your SWIR images. Lower noise means clearer, more detailed visuals, especially when dealing with low signals. Signal to Noise Comparison: The results are astounding, with PIRT's camera showing a 15x higher SNR advantage over competitive InGaAs SWIR cameras, under various conditions. PIRT's InGaAs sensors shows a 6x improvement in SNR over Colloidal Quantum Dots (CQD) detectors. Conclusion: SNR can make or break detection, especially at high frame rates. PIRT's SWIR cameras are designed for both sensitivity and speed, offering a 14-bit dynamic range and even cooled options for very low photon flux scenarios. Are you ready to unlock the full potential of your SWIR imaging? Contact us today, and let's explore the advantages of high-sensitivity SWIR cameras and imagers.
