JUST ANNOUNCED: For WNYC’s100th Birthday, New Yorkers will hear some unexpected voices during their daily commutes. Starting on Monday, July 8 and running for three days, beloved WNYC hosts Brian Lehrer, Michael Hill, and Brooke Gladstone will share WNYC and NYC trivia in announcements on the L train and on 350 station platforms across the city. Wonder what the official position of the Society to Prevent Disparaging Remarks about Brooklyn was in 1948?  Hear all about it … on the subway! POLITICO's Nick Reisman has the scoop: https://lnkd.in/egH-imGh Also on July 8, the Mayor’s Office will issue a City Proclamation commemorating WNYC’s years of service to the city.
