The NFL Physicians Society and Professional Football Athletic Trainers Society are thrilled to announce this year’s class of medical students participating in the Diversity in Sports Medicine Pipeline Initiative. This season, students from 21 medical schools will complete one-month clinical rotations with club medical staffs across the league. Rotations provide students the opportunity to observe and participate in the care of players in NFL club settings, working directly with and under the supervision of orthopedic team physicians, primary care team physicians, athletic trainers and other members of club medical staff. On June 14th, 17 NFL Legends convened at the Microsoft headquarters in Redmond, WA, to celebrate their graduation from the inaugural Microsoft Leap NFL Legend Cohort - Technical Program Management pathway. This program, run jointly by the NFL Player Care Foundation (PCF) and Microsoft, provides former NFL players with hands-on education, training sessions, and networking opportunities, allowing them to use their NFL experiences to kick off their tech careers.   At the session, these NFL Legends gathered to hear panels from Microsoft and NFL executives, tour the Microsoft campus as a team, network, and deliver their final group presentations to an audience of employers, culminating in their graduation from the Microsoft Leap program.   A big congratulations to these NFL Legends – we can’t wait to see how your tech careers flourish!    For more information about this program and other services and resources offered to former NFL players through the NFL Player Care Foundation (PCF), please visit: https://lnkd.in/enhRmEnj

At the recent Axios AI+ Summit, the NFL and Amazon Web Services (AWS) Web Services took center stage to highlight the power of artificial intelligence in revolutionizing player safety. The Digital Athlete platform, an innovative AI tool, simulates millions of scenarios to assess player performance and injury risk so that club and league leaders can make more informed, data-driven decisions about player care and game protocols both on and off the field.

This past week, executives across the League and club’s football and front offices traveled to Stanford University for a week-long intensive focused on accelerating the participants' leadership and business acumen. This marks the fourth year of the program, which was created to build the NFL’s C-suite pipeline.

This week, mid-career professionals from across the NFL Clubs and the League Office are enhancing their leadership skills at Michigan Ross School of Business Executive Education. The program focuses on transformational leadership, strategic execution, and cultivating an inclusive culture. This immersive experience empowers NFL leaders to adopt new perspectives and drive business results effectively. #LeadershipDevelopment #NFL #BusinessResults

We are excited to announce that submissions to our second annual NFL Photo Virtual Portfolio Reviews are now open! Selected participants will be invited to a virtual 1-on-1 review session with members of the NFL Photo department's team of experienced editors and photographers. Final review sessions will take place July 22th-26th, 2024.
