Last Thursday we spent the day at Metropolitan Ministries for L'Oréal's annual Volunteer Day. It is always such a rewarding experience to come together and make a difference in the lives of families in our community. 👩🏼🍳 We worked to prepare over 3,000 meals for those families who might be facing food insecurity and to fuel the on-campus staff 🍎 We served in the Metro Market to assist 85-100 families who rely on this pantry to fill theirs at home 👚 We sorted donated items to keep the thrift store a dignified place for families to find new treasures 🚸 We spent time with the children of PromiseLand assisting the teachers with crafts, snacks, and laughs for the kids Thank you to everyone for their hard work and effort in all of our projects. It feels like such a full circle moment from being the Outreach Coordinator Intern at Metro to partnering with Kristen Jones to plan a volunteer opportunity with L'Oréal! #Loreal #MyPeopleMyPurpose #VolunteerDay #MetropolitanMinistries
