Despite tech layoffs, the demand for skilled technology professionals remains high. Robert Half tech job expert Megan Slabinski explains recent layoffs as "tied more to performance management than broad sweeping layoffs," pointing out that the quit rate in the tech industry—or the rate at which employees are leaving jobs, an indication of employee confidence—has remained steady, as has wage growth.
