What Is Organic Content? Benefits, Types, and Best Practices What Is Organic Content? Organic content is any content audiences find on their own that doesn’t rely on paid marketing techniques. Meaning you share it without paying for advertising space. Here’s an example: When someone goes to Google and types “best coffee grinder” into the search bar, the search results provide links related to coffee grinders. The first group of results has the “Sponsored” tag. Which means those brands paid to appear on this results page. So, they aren’t organic results. Below those ads are organic results. And those websites achieve high rankings (positions) using SEO best practices rather than paid tactics. link 🖇️ https://lnkd.in/gs32Aa7J on https://lnkd.in/g4iKXjG8

Paid ads and organic content copy are different. With organic content: - You can be long-winded - You aim to add immense value - You want to optimize for shares With paid ads: - You have to be concise - You must incentivize immediate sign-ups My advice: Use the same method to "hook" the reader in your paid ads as you would in organic content. After that, get into an extremely brief pitch as to why the reader should subscribe (see example below). You have far less space to write. Make sure every word is worth including. You'll get better at this with practice. Do you have any ad copy questions I can help with?

Over half-way through our list of what to think about when it comes to your Content Marketing Strategy. What's #5? Keyword focus. Now, SEO can feel like an ever-moving target and you may want to work with a specialist, but here's some information to start thinking about: One of the key benefits driving many businesses to invest in content marketing is to grow a sustainable source of organic inbound traffic from search engines. Being strategic about which keywords you’re targeting in your content is important. Define a small set (no more than five) of short-tail keywords that are important to your business. Short-tail keywords are one to two words, which makes them highly competitive. Focus on keywords that are most relevant to your market and at the top of your customers’ minds. For example, a customer support helpdesk software company would probably pick “Customer Support” and perhaps “Customer Success” as two short-tail keywords. Long-tail keywords are multi-word phrases, which are more specific and targeted. Long-tail keyword research will come into play as you begin planning specific pieces of content and continue on an ongoing basis. For example, if “Customer Support” was a short-tail keyword, “Customer Support for Healthcare Providers” would be a related long-tail keyword.

Content marketing: Are you making the most of organic? Or are you relying on PPC to cover up what you aren’t doing? Organic content marketing is a slow burn, but it's worth it in the long run. By creating high-quality content that is relevant to your target audience, you can attract and engage potential customers, build trust, and establish yourself as an expert in your field. PPC, on the other hand, can give you quick results, but it can also be expensive. And if you're not careful, it's easy to become reliant on PPC and neglect your organic content marketing strategy. So, which approach is right for you? It depends on your budget and goals. If you have the budget and need immediate results, then PPC may be a good option for you. But if you're looking for a more sustainable and long-term approach, then organic content marketing is the way to go. Here are a few tips for making the most of organic content marketing: 1. Create high-quality content that is relevant to your target audience. This means doing your research and understanding what your audience wants to read, watch, or listen to. 2. Promote your content on social media and other channels. This will help you reach a wider audience and get more people to see your content. 3. Optimise your content for search engines. This will help people find your content when they search for relevant keywords. 4. Be patient and consistent. Organic content marketing takes time to produce results, but it's worth it in the long run. Don't rely on PPC to cover up what you aren't doing. Invest in organic content marketing and build a solid foundation for your business. Want to know more? 🚀 Two Dominant SEO Content Marketing Approaches: Which Is Your Pick? 🚀 When it comes to SEO through content marketing, you'll generally encounter two prevalent strategies: 1️⃣ The Speedster Approach: Churn content rapidly, building a comprehensive library around every pivotal topic related to your business. It's about playing catch-up or leading the race. Aiming for massive traffic— with a goal to pull 100k to 1M+ organic visitors monthly, even if conversion is <1%. Content is more generic, intended to give swift, satisfactory answers. 2️⃣ The Harmonized SEO Approach: Craft 4-8 high-quality, optimized content pieces monthly that amplify other boutique content (webinars, podcasts, YouTube series, etc). Organic traffic increases, but it’s about creating a synergy across channels. Content acts as the backbone for emails, social media, paid ads, and more. Content quality is prime, enriched with SME insights and curated to elicit a "WOW!" reaction. A balanced pursuit of revenue and traffic growth, focusing on efficiency and targeting. Your choice will likely be influenced by your industry, leadership style, and personal inclination towards content marketing. While both methods have their proponents, I personally lean towards the second.
