At Fizz, we value transparency and communication, which is why we wanted to bring to light an issue that occurred within our company recently. Earlier this year, in an attempt to create something that would go “viral,” a new employee at our company made a series of inappropriate and fake posts in a few of our college communities. Among the posts that were made, there were a few blurred sexual stock images of fake college students. The conduct was forced to stop immediately, and explicit content that has the possibility to cause real-world harm will have no place in our communities ever again.
Fizz aims to drive authentic, safe, and fun communities for students across the country, and we cherish each of these communities so vehemently. To students who may have been impacted at these schools, we’re sorry. Fizz takes full responsibility for these actions, and we have taken steps to ensure that nothing like this will happen again.
