Ferrari might be one of the world’s most desired brands, but this status has a downside – attempts to try to copy the products, creating counterfeits. We have always been deeply committed to protecting the integrity of our brand and the authenticity of our products. Find out more at the link. https://bit.ly/4bQ0PDH #Ferrari #FerrariMagazine
At the same time, as fans, not everything "Ferrari" is affordable. Actual Ferrari cars may be unaffordable but merchandise to show support for the brand and team need not cost a tooth and a nail. While I am against counterfieting, make your brand more accessible to more fans before fighting counterfieting.
I wanna know more about the 3 cars 👀
If Ferrari produced better quality products, as it does with cars, there would be many fewer fakes
I think in 2024 we should look into better ways to resolve this. Destroying thousands of products that are not worn or harmful except for the brand sounds quite wrong to me. For example, it could be interesting to find ways to create a "Not a Ferrari" brand to repurpose these items in some way and give them a second(or first) life. I mean, huge brands like Ferrari should lead the way in sustainability.
Funnily enough, the numbers seem fake aswell. They do not follow Benford's Law, which indicates that they were also fabricated! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Benford%27s_law https://www.dcode.fr/benford-law 100351 30161 3 17231 60903 17438 13415 11500 800 872 1092 91229 57503
This is a large number of counterfeits. I’m sure it’s a fraction of the actual number of fraudulent items produced.
400,000 only? I guess I see some or the other product have a Ferrari logo on it which I genuinely think isn't real but the 11,500 labels and 3 cars caught my attention 💯
