💥🤖 Live from the stage of the United Nations’ AI for Good summit, we sent President Macron a special tweet and he replied expressing his support to #PrometheusBCI, the multimodal cognitive AI developed as part of Inclusive Brains’ partnership with Allianz Trade.
🧠This was not your usual tweet. Paul Barbaste, my co-founder, and inventor of Prometheus BCI, joined me on stage during my keynote to be … Hands off. Literally!
🙌 Our non-invasive multimodal cognitive AI enabled real-time processing of Paul’s brainwaves, head and eye movements to empower him to type the text, upload a picture and send the tweet. No voice command, no touch, no hand movements, no implant/surgery. Only Prometheus BCI in action. Later in the day, during the International Telecommunication Union Press conference, a thank you tweet was sent to President Macron with Prometheus BCI.
🦾 The tweet included a picture of a previous world premiere Inclusive Brains achieved a few weeks back in Marseille, France. Nathalie Labrégère, despite her motor and cognitive impairments, was able to participate in the Olympic Torch Relay after being selected by Région Sud - Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur. Nathalie, who cannot perform voluntary movements, mind-controled an exoskeleton arm thanks to Prometheus BCI. It allowed her to extend her arm and reach the torch. An iconic moment.
♿️ Accessibility to AI and neurotech is key to shape a more inclusive future. This is why our partnership with Allianz Trade involves donating exoskeletons to non-for-profit organizations supporting people with disabilities and special needs, and for Prometheus BCI’s mental command algorithm to be made open source. More importantly our partnership will allow us to scale our inclusive AI and neurotech in the workplace.
