Warehouse Logistics Manager

Job Summary: Plans, organizes, directs, and controls Plant Receiving and Stockroom to meet company goals and objectives. Supervises direct and indirect employees responsible for shipping, receiving, and related support functions for all customers. Leads all logistics operations on site.

Key Accountabilities:

• Provides direction and supervision to staff for uninterrupted traffic flow in and out of facilities.
• Publishes detailed reports on efficiencies and metrics for customer-specific operations.
• Ensures all internal and external quality requirements are met and institutes corrective action as necessary.
• Develops and supports quality, cost, and schedule conformance targets for customer-specific operations and communicates them to staff.
• Coordinates the publication and dissemination of all customer-required documentation.

Essential Skills, Knowledge & Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in Warehouse and Logistics management
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Materials Logistics management, or related field preferred; Master's Degree is a plus
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Strong knowledge of global and regional logistics operations and industry
• Proficient in determining logistics requirements to enable business goals and devising strategies to achieve targets
• Strong financial and analytical ability
• Proven experience in cycle counting processes and problem-solving
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products and email skills
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
• Writes routine reports and correspondence effectively
• Speaks effectively before groups of customers or employees
• Solves practical problems with a variety of concrete variables where only limited standardization exists
