About the Role & What You'll Do

Spur Reply is looking for a Video Producer to join our Connected Communications service line. As a video producer, you will coordinate and manage all aspects of the video production process from start to finish—including helping with creative direction, scoping and establishing budget, organizing logistics, setting and meeting deadlines, editing, creating motion graphics, and collaborating and communicating with the team and clients during the entire process. This role is focused on producing videos consisting of existing footage, motion graphics, and stock footage, rather than producing live shoots.

Responsibilities

• Own all phases of the video production process including scoping, conceptualization, storyboarding, and post-production/editing
• Collaborate with Spur teams to brainstorm, develop, and execute a vision and strategy that fits with the client’s overall business goals and objectives
• Bring a strong sense of storytelling, rhythm, and editorial judgment to video work
• Handle post-production for video content, including audio editing/mixing/correction, 2D motion graphics, visual overlays, and color grading/correction
• Manage the overall timeline including incorporation of feedback, client follow-up, and ensuring all deadlines are met

Minimum Requirements

• 2 years of relevant experience
• Demonstrated experience creating short and long-form video content across a broad variety of channels (web, social, event, etc.)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with storytelling and strategy in a technical space
• Experience delivering multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
• Experience actioning feedback and iterating quickly
• Highly proficient in the Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Premiere and After Effects
• Conceptual thinking ability, including strategic and proactive problem-solving

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience navigating big-picture changes while maintaining composure and poise in client interactions
• Demonstrated ability to create original, imaginative, and aesthetically polished videos with strong storytelling
• Self-starter with a bias for action and ability to make headway despite ambiguity
• Ability to identify and tell inspiring stories that tug at heartstrings
• Proven experience meeting deadlines through strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Motion graphics and animation experience is a plus

The base compensation range for this full-time position is between $68,000 - $78,000 plus benefits. Compensation decisions are supported through market data, where regional variances may exist based on cost of labor. We also take into consideration prior experience, relevant skills, education and/or training, certifications and, as applicable, other required qualifications.
