Job Description

Agilent's Creative Center of Excellence (CCoE) provides our customers with a rich universe of content that attracts, delights, and retains them throughout their journey. Video content is an important part of this, and we are therefore looking for a talented and creative Digital/Video Content Producer to be part of our team onsite and help us create captivating content to help tell the Agilent story.

  • Video development – Planning, developing, and editing high-quality video content. The role requires strong storytelling ability, an understanding how to use video to convey key messages, the ability to capture high-quality, engaging video footage on set and location, and outstanding editing skills. Also, knowledge, understanding, and experience in recording and editing video sound, use of props, and lighting are key.
  • Collaboration - Significant collaboration working closely with CCoE colleagues and internal stakeholders to plan, visualize, and align on video shoots.
  • Equipment setup and management -- Must be able to efficiently set up and take down cameras, microphones, lighting, props, and equipment and oversee the management of this equipment.
  • Editing – Editing video effectively is critical to this role. You will be asked to edit footage after recording, adding computer graphics, closed captioning, and special effects for the highest quality final product.
  • Background preparation - Preparation of background film (also known as “b-roll”) as well as the use of more than one recording device at the same time to capture different angles and perspectives.
  • Project variety – The person assuming this role will need to creatively lead different project types in various recording environments based on the company’s needs. In addition, continuously developing creative ideas for Agilent video within the company brand guidelines will be an important element toward ensuring engaging, compelling content.

Qualifications

  • Technical proficiency - Possess technical skills in camera operation, lighting, sound, and video editing.
  • Creativity - Strong creativity, storytelling, and editing abilities.
  • Adaptability – Highly adaptable to new creative mediums.
  • Teamwork -Able to collaborate with various teams on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Coaching skills - Must have experience understanding how to make subjects comfortable in front of the camera.
  • Subject/topic knowledge – While this role doesn’t require detailed knowledge of complex biopharma or technology issues, it does require the ability to help individuals simplify complex topics for a broader audience. Knowing how to ask the right questions, ensuring points are communicated, and focusing on communication outcomes are important characteristics for this position.
  • Attention to detail -- interpersonal skills and attention to detail are critical.
  • Pre- and post-production knowledge and skills -- A strong understanding of pre- and post-production video techniques will be necessary for this individual to successfully deliver video content on time for strategically significant customer-facing projects.

Additional Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in video production or related field equivalent, preferably with a focus on cinematography, video production, etc.
  • Must possess a portfolio of relevant work experience.
  • Minimum 4+ years of experience operating video recording equipment (Depending on market size)
  • Proficiency with video recording equipment and video editing equipment
  • Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize assignments, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Strong storytelling ability.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously, including prioritizing and addressing multiple projects with varying timelines, and complete by the established deadline.
  • Must be proficient in English. (Written and verbal)
  • Up to 25% Travel as needed
  • Candidate should live within commutable distance to one of the listed locations, locations US-DE-Wilmington; Germany-Waldbronn; Denmark-Glostrup or UK-Church Stretton as this is an onsite role.
