Position Summary

The Vice President of Partnership Deployment is responsible for modeling the Compassus values of Compassion, Integrity, Excellence, Teamwork, and Innovation and for promoting the Compassus philosophy, using the 6 Pillars of Success as the foundation. S/he is responsible for upholding the Code of Ethical Conduct and for promoting positive working relationships within the company, among all departments, and all external stakeholders. The Vice President of Partnership Deployment will play a crucial role in leading the integration and deployment of new joint venture (JV) partnerships with health systems, including leading the establishment of new joint ventures or similar partnerships, ensuring seamless integration, and preparing the new entities to accomplish our strategic objectives.

Position Specific Responsibilities

  • Leads the internal integration team and process from the signing of new JVs through the completion of integration and deployment.
  • Acts as the primary point of contact for health system integration leaders.
  • Collaborates with Business Development and other business teams on due diligence and evaluation of acquisitions.
  • Develops standardized tools, processes, and procedures for JV deployment to enable scalable integration capabilities.
  • Provides executive leadership, direction, guidance, and consultation for integration efforts in alignment with the organization’s strategic plan and objectives.
  • Partners cross-functionally with compliance, legal, people, finance, IT, data analytics, operations, EPMO, and other teams to integrate and operationalize functional activities effectively.
  • Represents the “voice of the customer,” ensuring partners recognize value in the support they receive.
  • Networks and builds relationships with partners, analyzing business and clinical opportunities to advance partnerships both during and after the deployment period.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Education And/or Experience

  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree such as an MBA or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in Healthcare Business Development and Account Managment required; experience closer to 10+ years preferred.

Skills

  • Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentage.
  • Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from leaders, team members, investors, and external parties. Strong written and verbal communications.
  • Other Skills and Abilities: Ability to understand, read, write, and speak English. Articulates and embraces integrated healthcare at home philosophy. Proven ability to successfully navigate and work within large, matrixed organizations. Background and experience in presenting to an audience of physicians and working with C-suite healthcare leaders and others. Understanding of health plans, payers, ACOs, health systems, physician groups, etc. Ability to interpret and deliver outcome data and reports coupled with effective presentations to the C-suite. Ability to understand, read, write, and speak English. Articulates and embraces integrated healthcare at home philosophy. Up to 50% travel required. Must be able to work a flexible schedule to include nights and weekends.

Physical Demands and Work Environment: The demands of this role necessitate a team member to effectively perform essential functions. Regular standing, walking, and manual dexterity are fundamental, along with the ability to lift and move objects up to 25 pounds. Visual acuity requirements include close and distance vision, color and peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
