The Physician Assistant is responsible for planning and directing the delivery of primary health care and health education programs in association with Methodist Medical Group (MMG). The candidate will provide care and health education for patients and their families. Models appropriate behavior as exemplified in The Methodist Mission, Vision and Values.
EDUCATION/TRAINING REQUIRED:
Proficiency in applying advanced concepts, principles, and professional techniques in a specialized field of medicine. Such proficiency is acquired through completion of a master's degree or higher in a specialty and is demonstrated through a national specialty certificate as a Physician Assistant.
Registered/board certified Physician Assistant with a current license to practice professionally in the state of employment.
Advanced practice licensure / certification as required by the state of employment.
Current DEA number.
RELEVANT EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Vascular and/or Surgery experience preferred, but not required.
