PharmaCann, Inc. owns and operates best-in-class production facilities and retail dispensaries for cannabis-based products. We currently operate in the States of Illinois, New York, Massachusetts, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Colorado and Michigan as a medical and/or adult use cannabis provider to patients and customers. We are looking for energetic, results-driven individuals to join our rapidly growing team and industry.


PharmaCann is looking for an experienced data-driven and consumer centric Designer with high energy to drive our user experience strategy with a focus on ecommerce. The Designer will take a critical and important role in improving user experiences as they leverage PharmaCann’s digital products and technology applications. This role will continuously transform based on the dynamic cannabis industry, growth in markets, and UX best practices.


The Designer will create intuitive, elegant solutions aligned to our brand requirements, product principles and retail goals to convert online traffic and drive traffic to our retail locations. The Designer will be passionate about ecommerce and be an expert in conversion rate optimization. The Designer will also be comfortable in an agile environment that thrives in a fast-paced culture with tight deadlines and the ability to multi-task and thrive in a highly regulated industry. The ideal candidate will be a creative and strategic thinker who can proactively problem solve and contribute solutions with a deep understanding of ecommerce. It is a collaborative role that will work closely with business analysts, developers, creative, and marketing teams. This position will report directly to the Director of Retail & Digital Marketing.


  • Generate new ideas, understand design opportunities and define business needs to increase revenue and customer acquisition
  • Focus on analytics to drive UX optimizations
  • Ability to project manage initiatives, communicate deadlines, and proactively provide business insights
  • Design with a mobile first mentality and always consider SEO best practices
  • Collaborate with Product, QA and IT teams to build business request documents, perform UAT, and launch new enhancements
  • Design digital experiences throughout the website, emails, landing pages, and other creative as needed
  • Create the best UX for our cannabis consumer with a focus on conversion rate optimization
  • Partner with internal teams to share and explore their ideas to create the best deliverable
  • Ensure brand voice is followed to build an omni channel presence
  • Maintaining high standards of design


Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of UX Design experience
  • Experience with Magento 2.0 / Adobe Commerce platform
  • Expert in conversion rate optimization
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and Figma
  • Understanding of HTML coding, java script, and CSS
  • Familiar with analytic platform such as GA4 and Domo
  • Exposure to project management tools such as Monday.com and Jira
  • Ecommerce experience required, cannabis experience a plus
