Your Role
As a Third Party Risk Management Specialist, you will play a crucial role in evaluating and mitigating risks associated with our supplier relationships. Your responsibilities include conducting comprehensive risk assessments, performing due diligence on suppliers, and implementing effective risk mitigation strategies.
Key Responsibilities
Risk Assessment: Evaluate risks across various domains associated with third-party relationships.
Due Diligence: Ensure suppliers meet organizational standards and regulatory requirements.
Risk Mitigation: Develop strategies and controls to minimize third-party risks.
Contract Review: Collaborate with legal and procurement teams to incorporate risk mitigation provisions.
Reporting and Communication: Present findings and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.
Regulatory Compliance: Stay informed about relevant laws and regulations, ensuring compliance.
Training and Awareness: Educate employees on risk management policies and procedures.
Required Experience And Skills
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
Minimum of 3 years in Third Party Risk Management or a related function.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Knowledge of third-party risk management practices and regulatory requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in information security, IT architecture, or enterprise risk management.
Familiarity with procurement processes.
Background in property casualty insurance industry.
