Our client, a global 3d design software company, is actively looking for a Technical Writer/Editor to join their team in Waltham, MA! This role is onsite hybrid 3 days a week so local candidates are required.
***This is a 5 month initial contract position with the opportunity to extend***
Responsibilities
Edit Knowledge Base articles and Best Practices web content and update their translation in 11 languages so that they are up to date
Manage the localization of the Knowledge Base
Prepare Knowledge Base articles to be ready for system migration
Update/create technical documentation
Train, coach, and assist other Technical Content Specialists
Required Skills & Experience
10+ years of experience in a technical content writing/editing focused position, ideally at a software or global tech company
Experience in localization and project management
Experience working with Microsoft Office, Acrolinx, Grammarly, Open Text, and Google Analytics is preferred
Experience sticking to and using a style guide
Exposure to web design
Strong communication skills
Experience mentoring and/or training staff is a plus
