Technical Writer

Remote * 6-month Contract to Hire *

Seattle, Burbank or Orlando. They can work remotely for the duration of contract but must be close to a hub for conversion purposes.

Optomi Professional Services has partnered with a world-renowned entertainment industry leader to find their next Tech Writer. The ideal candidate will have proven success in highly technical fields such as software development, computer science, or engineering. It is also important in this role, to have the ability to evaluate and analyze complex information and the natural desire to help people understand it.

Required Qualifications:

• 7+ years of relevant experience in technical writing for large-scale and diverse enterprises, supporting identity and access, enterprise platforms, and/or collaboration ecosystems
• 5+ years' experience in contributing to large, transformational IT initiatives
• Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication. Ability to connect with all partners, including leadership, software and platform engineers, end users, and application owners.
• Ability to work collaboratively, establish credibility, and working relationships within Enterprise Technology
• Team-oriented interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate and interact with a broad range of people and roles
• Good organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
• IAM writing experience
• Expertise with Agile methodologies and delivering solutions through sprint planning activities

About the Role/Team:

• The Enterprise Technology team is dedicated to delivering technology solutions that align with business strategies, drive enterprise efficiency, and foster cross-company collaborative innovation.
• This team focuses on enhancing consumer experiences, enabling business growth, and advancing operational excellence.
• The client is looking for a Technical Writer to join the Enterprise Technology Identity and Access Management (IAM) group, which is responsible for providing a Core IAM ecosystem of products and platforms used across the company. The goal is to offer modern Identity and Access Management capabilities that are simple, seamless, and secure.
• This Technical Writer will report to the senior manager of engineering - IAM and will play a key role in the IAM Transformation journey to enhance end-user experience and improve information security. This role will collaborate with various teams to support the operationalization of functional and process changes related to the transformation.
