Who You Are:

As a Talent Acquisition Specialist at Citian, you are a seasoned recruiter with a passion for identifying top talent and building high-performing teams across various departments. You thrive in dynamic startup environments where wearing multiple hats is the norm, and you're ready to take on diverse responsibilities beyond traditional recruitment tasks. Whether it's software developers, sales professionals, administrative staff, or other roles, you have the expertise to source and attract candidates who align with Citian's values and objectives.


With a minimum of two years of comprehensive, full-cycle recruiting experience, you bring a deep understanding of staffing principles, laws, and procedures. You have honed your skills in identifying top talent and fostering relationships with candidates, ensuring a seamless recruitment process. Your ability to adapt to changing priorities and navigate the complexities of recruitment in a fast-paced startup environment makes you an invaluable asset to our team at Citian.


Expected Duties:

  • Responsible for full-cycle recruiting across multiple departments, including software developers, sales professionals, administrative staff, and other roles.
  • Create and post job descriptions tailored to each position, utilizing effective language to attract diverse talent pools.
  • Utilize various recruiting techniques, including online and social media recruiting, to reach potential candidates for a wide range of positions.
  • Conduct screenings and interviews to assess candidates' qualifications and fit for different roles within the organization.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and develop tailored recruitment plans and strategies.
  • Place and update job postings on various platforms, including LinkedIn, college job boards, social networks, and other mediums.
  • Research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting, continuously expanding our candidate pipeline across different departments.
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process, from initial contact to onboarding, for all roles within the organization.
  • Assist with special projects and perform administrative duties as needed to support the recruitment function.


Required Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
  • Minimum of two years of comprehensive, full-cycle recruiting experience, preferably in a technology or engineering-focused environment.
  • Strong understanding of staffing principles, laws, and procedures, with knowledge of recruitment/employment programs.
  • Proficiency in various recruiting techniques, including online and social media recruiting.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate the organization's value proposition effectively.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and LinkedIn Recruiter.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and exercise good judgment in various situations.
  • Adaptability and flexibility to thrive in a dynamic startup environment where wearing multiple hats and taking on diverse responsibilities is the norm.
  • Strong work ethic, integrity, and ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Creative thinking skills with the ability to propose new ideas and solutions.
