LPL is seeking a SVP, Divisional Director - Field Management, this role will play a key leadership role in the affiliation model and the realization of the long-term vision of a unified community of multiple branches. Mandates to include setting direction and driving towards profitability as well as outsized recruiting/retention and growth. The successful leader will have a comprehensive understanding of the wealth management business, independent (1099) financial advisor practices, and how to create and lead a thriving growth culture.

Responsibilities:

  • Leading a group of Regional Branch Directors and helping our Advisors grow and maintain high advisor satisfaction.
  • Setting the growth targets for the division and associated sales plan.
  • Helping assist advisors in teaming and succession planning, including assisting in Advisors understanding their capital liquidity options.
  • Partnering with the sales organization and Regional Branch Directors in recruiting Advisors into the channel.
  • Operating the multi-branch channel by managing the P&L and helping expand the multi-branch office footprint.
  • Overseeing initial change management efforts with long-term shift to growth enablement (talent management, training, succession planning, etc.).


Requirements:

  • 10+ years of financial services experience.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Must have Series 7,66; Series 9,10 strongly preferred.
  • Experience in both a branch and home office preferred.
  • Experience as a branch manager and managing multiple offices.
  • Strong wealth management experience and a track record of recruiting and integration.
  • Ability to motivate employees, build teams and drive outcomes.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and respect with direct reports and colleagues.
  • A highly strategic thinker, with the ability to assess complex problems, prioritize key issues, focus on relevant facts and maintain a strong execution focus.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to present materials to the highest levels in the organization and serve as a recognizedsubject matter expert, as well as the ability to frame complex issues visually.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence at all levels and lead change.
  • Awareness of industry dynamics and best practices.
  • Branch experience either in a role of branch manager, branch operations/service or branch administration.


Pay Range:

$212,300.00 - $353,900.00

Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
