THE WORK
As a Subcontract Program Manager (SPM), you'll lead the management of subcontractor relationships and critical systems, overseeing various contract types within the NMRO domain. Your responsibilities will include directing subcontractor performance, developing strategic plans, and ensuring compliance with contractual requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Subcontract Management Teams: Oversee subcontracts and critical subcontracted systems across various contract types within the NMRO domain.
Direct and Manage Performance: Ensure adherence to all aspects of cost, quality, schedule, financial, and technical requirements outlined in subcontractor agreements or prime contracts.
Develop Strategic Plans: Formulate sourcing and subcontract program management strategies aligned with program capture needs and execution objectives.
Subcontractor Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact between subcontractors and the program management office, fostering clear communication and efficient issue resolution.
Subcontract Management: Supervise all stages of the subcontract process, from making business cases for make/buy decisions to negotiating agreements and overseeing program execution.
Performance Decision Making: Make critical decisions impacting subcontractor performance, ensuring alignment with program objectives and goals.
Schedule and Specification Compliance: Establish milestone objectives and ensure adherence to committed schedules and contractual specifications.
