Role Summary

The Audio Group at Rivian is responsible for in-vehicle acoustics, media and infotainment playback, audio hardware design and much more. We have a deep passion for audio and how things sound. We are looking for someone to design and implement our audio hardware and integration of all our vehicle platforms

Responsibilities

• Define the audio experience in all Rivian platforms
• Specify acoustic targets for Rivian vehicles
• Work with cross functional team and vendors to design optimal integration of acoustic components
  
  

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Computer Science, EEE or related program with a focus on acoustics
• 4+ years of experience in acoustic integration
• Experience with acoustic simulations – small signal models, finite element analysis
• Experience with acoustic measurements – AP, anechoic chamber, product level
• Experience with mechanical integration of acoustic components – buzz, rattles, grill designs
• Enthusiastic self-starter
• Good communication and documentation
• Audio electronics design preferred
  
  

Pay Disclosure

• Salary Range for Bay Area Based Applicants: $167,400 - $209,300 (actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law)
• Benefits Summary: Rivian provides robust medical/Rx, dental and vision insurance packages for full-time employees, their spouse or domestic partner, and children up to age 26
