Qualifications/Experience:

  • Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree, Ph.D. or MBA preferred.
  • Experience:
  • Prior track record of success in growing new business preferred.
  • Skills:
  • Proven track record of success in launching and growing new businesses.
  • Prior industry experience in genetic testing, data strategy, pharma partnerships preferred.
  • Strong understanding of market research, competitive analysis, and business planning.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in developing and managing budgets.
  • Ability to build and motivate a high-performing team.
  • A strategic mindset with a passion for innovation.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop the Business Strategy: Conduct market research, identify target markets, and create a comprehensive business plan for the business of data/services and building partnerships with pharma, CROs and AI companies.
  • Lead and Manage Staff: Build a high-performing team from the ground up, including recruiting, onboarding, and developing employees.
  • Drive Sales and Growth: Set ambitious sales targets, develop effective marketing campaigns, and secure new partnerships.
  • Financial Management: Create and manage budgets, monitor expenses, and ensure the business unit operates profitably.
  • Day-to-Day Operations: Oversee all aspects of the business, including product development, customer service, and compliance.
  • Strategic Thinking: Stay ahead of the curve by researching industry trends and identifying new opportunities for growth.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Maintain strong relationships with cross-functional teams and senior management.
