Known Social is on a hot streak, and we’re looking for a temp-to-perm Social Strategist to support the Director, Social Strategy and Sr. Director, Social Strategy in developing winning organic social media strategies for clients across all categories. The Social Strategist will deliver innovative strategies and partner with creatives to develop breakthrough, best-in-class executions. In addition to client work, this role will be pivotal in helping develop social media strategies for new prospective clients and respond to RFPs.

With broad categorical interests, the ideal candidate will have an audience-first mindset with a high level of empathy for consumer pain points across industries. Additionally, they will demonstrate clear, impactful client-facing communication and writing skills that articulate complicated strategic direction clearly, quickly and effectively.

What You’ll Do

  • Support the Director, Social Strategy to deliver best-in-class social media strategies across business categories
  • Move at the speed of culture and propose breakthrough and first-to-market social media strategies to clients
  • Create comprehensive, insightful social strategy briefs for our creative team to ideate against
  • Leverage desk research and distill large social media data sets into actionable insights for our clients and creatives
  • Partner with creative counterparts to support the end-to-end creative development process, ensuring content is always optimized to achieve client KPIs
  • Serve as a client-facing member of our team, making difficult concepts and strategies seem easy and actionable
  • Partner with the Director, Social Strategy and Sr. Director, Social Strategy to develop slides for pitch decks and go-to-market materials, helping accelerate our win rate
  • Act as a thought leader internally and externally, educating colleagues and clients on the latest social media trends and executions

What You Have Done/Who You Are

This role is right for you if:

  • You possess an end-to-end understanding of social media strategy, including standard channels (TikTok, FB, IG, Twitter, etc.), emerging platforms and how to cut through the noise to drive impact
  • You have a proven ability to effectively partner with creatives to maximize KPIs while developing breakthrough content strategies
  • You have experience effectively using social media tools, like Sprout Social, Sprinklr, Tagger and Rival IQ, to mine for insights
  • You’re excited and knowledgeable about using Excel and Google Sheets to manage large data sets to develop insights and inform creative briefs
  • Experience proposing and managing influencer campaigns a plus
  • You have strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to immediately interface with clients
  • You are highly ambitious, with a relentless pursuit of quality
  • You possess a can-do, roll-up-your-sleeves spirit that thrives in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
  • You bring to the role a demonstrated ability to multitask and prioritize

Your Background Includes

  • 3-5+ years of experience delivering high-impact social media strategies
  • Agency experience (preferred)

The base salary for this position is $600/day. This range is posted in compliance with state and municipal Pay Transparency laws.
