Kforce has a client in San Antonio, TX that is seeking a Senior Windows Server Engineer responsible for planning, designing, provisioning, maintaining, and upgrading physical and virtual Windows servers and related infrastructure across the enterprise. The Senior Windows Server Engineer will be responsible for managing the entire lifecycle of the largest and most complex Windows server team technologies projects including design, implementation, installation, update, and configuration. If teaching others excites you, you'll have the opportunity to mentor other members of the Windows Server team. Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain documentation and procedures for Windows Server engineering and administration
Design and evaluate solutions to enhance the most complex Windows servers and related infrastructure across the organization; Make recommendations to management and implement enhancement solutions
Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders and management to design and implement the most complex Windows server infrastructure projects that fulfill line of business needs across the organization
Perform routine systems conformance and capacity validation and routine system maintenance to ensure that Windows servers are up to date, secure, and in compliance with company standards
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, in a related field, or equivalent experience
5+ years of experience in server administration and/or engineering
Demonstrated experience in engineering at a high level across multiple systems
Demonstrated ability to accurately depict technical environments
Demonstrated experience working in a virtualized environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft computer applications
Additional Preferred Skills
Expertise and experience in advanced scripting with PowerShell, Ansible, and/or Chef
Expertise and experience in at least one of the following: Microsoft Windows OS, Active Directory, Anti-Virus solutions, SCCM, PKI, Privileged Access Management
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
